A one-day interactive workshop designed to equip you with the skills to research for cross platform content.
By the end of the day you will be equipped with the essential tools of the trade including:
  1. What makes a good story – a chance to explore narrative structure and key storytelling techniques.
  2. You rarely find stories staring at your computer - how to find compelling stories and pitch them, both verbally and in writing.
  3. Casting from the general public: how to find great contributors and get the most out of them, including interviewing techniques both on the telephone and face-to-face
  4. Developing strategies for research: by brainstorming a number of scenarios, a chance to develop efficient and effective research techniques. Includes widening your sources of information.
  5. Corroborating stories and facts - how to ensure your research is accurate. Includes hot internet research tips for refining your searches and investigating websites.
