HD Camera Workshop
Course Outline
The purpose of this workshop is to introduce and educate the participants on ‘High Definition’ Cameras, the different formats within HD and the relevant Cameras available for use withing the industry now and in the future
Course Tutors
This Workshop will be conducted by a working Cameraman / Director of Photography, together with an experienced Camera assistant / Focus Puller. The Workshop will be organised and administered by ‘The Production Depot’ with John Leahy as ‘Program/Course’ supervisor.
New Technology
This Workshop has three areas over three seperate days : beginners, intermediate and Advanced
Course Structure
The learning design of the workshop will allow each particpant “hands-on” time with each camera system. This will allow them to familiarise themselves with each cameras capabilities, accessories and configurations. A wide range of the most current Camera and Grip accessories will also be made available for use in conjunction with these camera systems.
The course will involve lectures, demonstrations, practice and problem solving. All participants will recieve a pack with detailed notes and illustrations.
Certification
A Certificate from ‘The Production Depot’ will be issued to those who complete the different levels of Workshops to acknowledge their participation and experience gained.
Participants
Although this is an entry level workshop, a basic knowledge of Cinematography would be a requirement from all applicants. The ideal applicant will have some experience in a Film / TV related college course or similar workshop, and participants should have at least a basic understanding of the principals of photography.
